We finally got a Tomy Oliver (Trackmaster type) locomotive! Found on Amazon.com but do not look now because one is asking $422 for the set! Comes with Oliver's coaches. So we update our Oliver collection which includes Hornby, Take-N-Play and Thomas Wooden Railway versions. Still waiting on Bachmann to release their version (how long has it been since people were saying it is out?)

Thomas Wooden Railway Farmhouse Pig Parade vs Peppa Pig George's Train Ride

At Marshalll's (and its clone TJ Maxx) they have many Thomas Wooden Railway Sets for sale. We purchased The Farmhouse Pig Parade set. It is a really good value for $70 with a good track plan and a neat farmhouse (Trotter's Farm) that does not need batteries. Staying on the theme of pigs, we have George's Train Ride with George and Grandpa Pig from Peppa Pig. It is a brick built system equivalent to LEGO DUPLO.

Thomas and Friends World's Fastest Engine Race LIONEL O GAUGE Trains

A great race between all our Thomas & Friends O Scale Locomotives! All the locomotives are made by Lionel Trains. We have Thomas (change faces on the 3 so we have regular, angry, and surprised), Percy the Small Engine, James the Red Engine, Iron 'Arry, Iron Bert, and Devious Diesel! Which is the fastest? We set up our Lionel track with a double oval and each train has to race around 1 complete time to get back where they started. To make things interesting - there is a cross track - but we started them where they hopefully don't (didn't always work - see the bloopers at the end!)

My first LEGO Idea Book from 1973. Yes I have collected LEGO a long time and I wore this book out looking at it.  I remember not having many of the pieces needed to make these models. But I could always dream of having the pieces.
