LEGO 3451 Sopwith Camel Biplane Vintage Sculpture Set from 2001

Although I am not an aviation buff, I love this set. From 2001 and its a really good model. Thanks to Mardisgrasman23 on YouTube I have this set. Traded him a modern modular for this and another vintage set.

Minions Mystery Packs All 6 with cheat codes MEGA BLOKS Despicable Me

I picked up these because they had a sexual buy one get one 40% off at Toys R Us. Plus a new from previous Mega BLOKS mystery packs, you could look at the serial numbers and avoid duplicates. Bought 6 boxes and got all 6 figures. Figures look cool and each comes with the 2x4 brick with serial number. However, I don't understand why they made it so difficult  to attach the arms and legs. Virtually impossible for a kid. My hands were sore afterwards a I'm not a weakling. Very disappointed but then again, what was I expecting!

LEGO MINECRAFT 21116 Crafting Box Models #3 & 4

Working with AFOL Man to do a series of 4 videos about this set. We may try this with other sets. As it is - neither one of us are digging the Minecraft too much. I think the sets are a little over priced for what you get. I'm thinking it's the Minecraft branding. While the designs I think are great and fit the game well, I think that true hard core Minecraft fans will still continue to prefer the game over reality and the sets.



I really think LEGO did a good job with the promotion of this as well as the look of the sets. However, it's really hard for me to get past the fact that it's just a bunch of basic pieces. I think Minifigure packs like the CMFs would have been a big hit! Maybe that is something they will do later. Please understand, I am not hating on these sets or Minecraft. I think Minecraft is one of the best designed video games and I'm so glad it's not like the other garbage video games out there that are so popular. It's so much better for LEGO to make sets based on Minecraft than to taint there brand with the despicable war games.

LEGO Friends 40112 Model Catwalk Phone Holder

I don't think anybody reads this blog. This video was much longer but I edited down. The Name that starts with J is a sore subject around here. It's a mystery to us how somebody that has so much disdain for his viewers can be so popular. According to YouTube creator academy, it says creators should be engaged with their subscribers including commenting and mentioning them by name. I try to do this frequently and I always do it in my BAT series. When I comment on videos - I don't use an alternate account as the J does. I'm not afraid to comment or subscribe to some of my viewers channels and even give feedback to them.  I love to give credit to others whenever I can!



I received an insulting message from the J (he used his alternate account). He imputed bad motives to myself and others . He didn't respond in the comment section because he said "the kids wouldn't understand." That's the truth! They would be like "I thought this guy was great! Somebody must of hacked his account!" Just because somebody calls their self nice, doesn't mean they are nice. In a way it's funny to me. In the message he sent he asked a question but when I replied, he went back to the usual ignore the peasants mode.



People should be more engaging in YouTube. I appreciate ones like Brickshowtv and BrickQueen . I know they appeal more to the TFOLs than AFOLs, but they come across as really nice. It's a good model to follow. So that's why I edited my video down. I had a rant in it, but took it out. It's not appropriate to return evil for evil. That's why I will just stick to the facts and not express my opinion further than what I have here. Whenever I get mean or hateful comments, I will do the same thing as with the profanity laced comments - delete and block. I don't mind constructive criticism  or if people don't like or understand stuff that I like. Now that I have vented, it's helped me to put this behind me. Will try not to mention the not so nice dude again.

LEGO Town 6661 Mobile TV Studio Truck from 1989 Legoland

This is a classic LEGOLand Town System set. Vehicles mostly small like in this set. Love the vintage stuff. This is from 1989. In 1989 I was a senior and college and didn't have a lot of spending money, so I missed out on some of these when they were in stores. However, it was around this time that I started discovering after holiday clearance deals. Used to be I would wait until Kmart put stuff 20% off before I bought something. Once I discovered the deep discounts - I started waiting for that and hoping sets I wanted went on clearance. That began around 1990. Hard to believe it's been 25 years since this set came out!

LEGO 334 Semi Trailer Truck form 1967 Vintage! +BAT 1st LEGO Plates?

I love these old large vehicle sets from the late 60s to early 70s. I have many more to build. This is in the Model Maker line. These early sets were designed like model kits. Most of the vehicles had them same basic building technique - a steering axle that goes through 2 plates with holes and connects to a 1x2 with an old LEGO logo

People always ask me what is my favorite set. This is it. It came as 2 different set numbers, one of North America and one for Europe. Not sure of what number it was everywhere else.

LEGO CREATOR 10243 Parisian Restaurant Modular

So I have finished building the last of my modulars and now awaiting the release of the Detective Office. We have all of the modulars - original with the boxes - including the Mini Modulars. I am hoping that next the will offer another set of 5 minis for the last 5 releases
